Training Agenda

Successful Sample Prep with Microwave Digestion

For over 30 years chemists have trusted CEM to provide the highest quality microwave digestion systems for their laboratories.

Over these years we have learned a thing to too about microwave digestion and are here to help you.

Throughout the session we share with you vital knowledge to ensure the very best sample preparation for ICP including:

  • Physical sampling techniques
  • Microwave principles
  • Correct choice of acids for sample matrixes
  • Microwave method development
  • Cleaner chemistry and achieving lower detection levels
  • Alternative preparation options

ICP Sample Introduction: Optimal Component Selection

“Glass Expansion has been at the forefront of manufacturing sample introduction components for ICPs since 1983.

Throughout the session, we'll delve into the intricacies of sample introduction components, ranging from sample probes to cones for ICP analysis. The sample introduction system within your ICP significantly influences factors like detection limit, precision, matrix tolerance, and overall result quality.

Learn how through meticulous selection of torch, spray chamber, and nebulizer components, ICP performance can be elevated, specifically tailored to the types of samples being analyzed.

  • Understand the fundamentals of ICP sample introduction components.
  • Learn how to select the Optimal Sample Introduction System for Your Application.
  • Explore Strategies for Long-Term Analytical Performance

An Introduction to ICP and troubleshooting
